Metronom wanted to do an experiment: to give a series of creators from very different fields the opportunity to react spontaneously to the perception of objects of their choice through an electron microscope.
In this group selected by the photographer Joan Fontcuberta there are musicians, painters, architects, filmmakers, photographers, poets, sculptors ...
The participants are the musician Barbara Held, the architects Ivan Bercedo and Jorge Mestre, the poets Carles Hac Mor and Ester Xargay, the film-maker Isaki Lacuesta, the sculptress Sylvie Bussieres, the artist and poet Perejaume and Joan Fontcuberta himself.
Faced with this challenge, each one of them has given a response linked to plastic and conceptual concerns that are their own. "Microcosmics" therefore proposes the result of this initiative, which has a desire to collect the direct response of the artist's gaze on the gaze of science.
